I’m a bath loving girl. I love taking baths at night to help me unwind from my day. I always grab a book and my favorite beverage so I can just relax before bed. I usually pick from some fun smelling bubble bath or a sea salt soak. Recently I’ve been curious about the milk baths. So I decided to give it a go. And I’m in love. You’ve got to try out this DIY Milk Bath!!
Milk baths can help relieve tension, de-stress from your day, help break up the dead skin cells, moisturize the skin, soothe achy muscles.
2 cups of Powdered Milk
1 cup of Epsom Salt
1 cup of Sea Salt
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly in a medium sized mixing bowl. Transfer to an air tight container (I used a mason jar).
When you’re ready to take your bath, pour about a cup of the dry mixture into warm running water. You can add 1-2 tablespoons of honey to your milk bath to gain extra moisture to your skin! Add a few drops of lavender, rose or eucalyptus oil to gain even more benefits from your milk bath (plus the nice smells these oils give off!)
